If you don’t have St. Patrick’s Day plans then come on out to the Bridgemill Pavilion next Sunday, the 17th and hang out with me! The Varsity Food Truck will be there serving free food and drinks, plus we’ll have games and such for the kids! Hope to see you there!

Solutions, Not Talking Points! This is what I’m all about.
Watch this short video I made that explains my common sense solutions to a couple of big traffic problems for us in Cherokee County without laying an ounce of asphalt! A simple fix that I can accomplish in the short term, not years from now, that will be a HUGE stress reliever for us every day!

If you want this type of forward thinking for future development then Vote Matt Lear on March 19th!

Early Voting starts Monday, Feb 25th, and ends Friday March 15th. It will take place only at the Cherokee County Board of Elections Office in Canton Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, 400 East Main St, Canton 30114.

What a night! 02.05.2019 The forum was a huge success! Thanks to the Cherokee County Republican Women for putting it on. I hope the voters were able to see my passion and vision for Cherokee County! Head over to the Cherokee County Republican Party page to watch the whole thing, I think it’s important to know before you vote!

Cherokee County looks a lot different than it used to. Those of us that grew up here have seen firsthand the massive growth that’s taken place over the last few decades. And it’s STILL growing! But what we need is someone with a vested interest in what that growth looks like not only now, but long term. We need someone that the very diverse population in this county can relate to, someone with an open mind who looks at an issue from all angles, who can solve problems while building and maintaining strong relationships, someone who is forward thinking with a finger on the pulse of the culture. And I believe that person is me. We enjoy a great quality of life here and I intend to keep it that way. I’ve lived here for over 25 years, I’m 34 with a loving wife and the best 6 year old son anyone could ask for. I’m not a politician, I’m just a guy who loves people. I’m in this for the long haul, and I plan on seeing it through.

So I’m asking those of you in District 3, if you want someone who genuinely cares for the future betterment of this county to please vote for me on March 19th.

The # 1 question I get from people is “what does a county commissioner do?”
Here’s a short video that outlines exactly that, and after you meet me you’ll hopefully see that this is something I was made to do.  And I look forward to your vote on March 19th!
